Austin is the hippest city in Texas; in some ways it does not really feel like Texas at all. I like to think of it as almost country. Where cowboy boots are the acceptable footwear for every occasion, even weddings, or a pearl snap shirt and board shorts are seen along the banks of Barton Springs. Around here the western lifestyle is still the beating heart of Austin’s southern hospitality met with modern charm and sophistication. It is where western is fashion.
In this blog, I will explore, interview, and converse about many of the things that I love which influence western fashion; from Texas music and Texas sports to the steps of the State Capitol and the things that style them together, cowboy boots.
